Unreliable Scheduling and Constant Delays I booked service with this company 10 days ago, and ever since, they’ve been pushing my appointment back—always by text, always the day before they’re supposed to come. This has happened multiple times now. Today they moved my appointment again, this time from tomorrow to the 15th. The lack of reliability and constant last-minute changes have been extremely frustrating. I can’t comment on the actual service yet because they haven’t shown up, but based on the scheduling experience alone, it’s been disappointing.

The folks at Jacuzzi have been such a great help, from initial purchase of our Jacuzzi J485 back in 2021 and continue to provide the best service when needed. We recently had an simple LED issue, which when I called to ask for assistance, they provided immediate attention to my needs and service was onsite with a few days. Andrew, the Jacuzzi rep, who came over was just fantastic. Answered all my questions and provided excellent going forward advice with water balancing and other tips to continue enjoying our Jacuzzi. Thanks Jacuzzi!!!!

First time experience with this team and I can say I’m very happy with the service and outcome. We purchased a house that included a beautiful outdoor Jacuzzi but have no experience in running or maintaining one of these units so the advice and service provided by this team was invaluable. They were timely, thorough, got us up and running with a Jacuzzi that has been sitting empty for 6 months, taught us the basics of maintenance, and provided excellent recommendations for future maintenance considerations. Long term I will consider taking over all maintenance, but for now I’m happy to pass off the bigger ~ 3 month jobs to this team due to the convenience and level of service. Thank you!

We experienced a fault in a high temperature sensor on our Jacuzzi hot tub. Initial service guidance was provided over the phone in the event it could be remedied without a service call, but we soon learned it would require a technician. An appointment for a service technician was made, however, a few days later the tech was nearby and came to perform the service 5 days earlier than expected. Dan was professional, personable, thorough and efficient at making the repairs, which were covered under the warranty, and all without any mess or need to tidy up afterwards. Great work folks.

Truly impressed with my whole hot tub experience with Jacuzzi. The tub is superior quality and I love the hot tub. I have been in it everyday since receiving it and already have seen positive results for my back and overall general feeling. The whole process with the wiring, the deliver of the tub and the installation of the gazebo was seamless and happened in a very professional and efficient manner. I was a little frustrated originally with the delivery delays but the net result was so great that you forget about those issues.
Before you hire a hot tub installer in Ontario
Hot tub sales and placement are unregulated, but the electrical connection is not. It requires a licensed electrical contractor and an ESA inspection.
Licensed electrical contractor with an ECRA/ESA number
A hot tub needs a dedicated GFCI-protected 240V circuit and, in most cases, a disconnect within sight of the tub. This is not work for a handyman.
Verify with: The Electrical Safety Authority, esasafe.com.
Check Fix My Hot Tub Vaughan on the official registerESA notification and Certificate of Acceptance
Filed by the electrical contractor and inspected. Keep the certificate - insurers and buyers ask for it.
Adequate base or engineered deck support
A filled hot tub with occupants is a serious point load. Placing one on an ordinary residential deck without verifying capacity is a real structural risk, and decks have failed under them.
General liability insurance for delivery and placement
Crane placement over a house is a moment where insurance stops being theoretical.
Questions worth asking
- What is the filled weight, and is my intended base or deck rated for it?
- Which licensed electrical contractor will do the connection, and is the ESA notification included?
- Will I get the Certificate of Acceptance when it passes inspection?
- Can the tub physically reach the location, or is a crane required - and is that in the price?
- What is the insulation construction, and what is the realistic monthly running cost in winter?
