Contract Rating is a contractor directory and review aggregation service. The Site displays publicly available business information and reviews sourced from Google Places API. Contract Rating is operated by an individual based in Ontario, Canada.

3. Use of the Site

You may use the Site for lawful personal and informational purposes only. You agree not to:

— Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Site — Use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation — Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its infrastructure — Use the Site to transmit spam, malware, or harmful content — Misrepresent your identity or affiliation in any way

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these terms.

4. Contractor Information and Reviews

Contractor listings, business details, ratings, and reviews displayed on Contract Rating are sourced from Google Places API and represent publicly available information. We do not independently verify the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of this information.

Contract Rating makes no guarantee that: — Contractor information is current or accurate — Reviews reflect genuine customer experiences — Any contractor is licensed, insured, or qualified

You should independently verify contractor credentials before hiring. Contract Rating is not responsible for the quality of work performed by any contractor listed on the Site.

5. Intellectual Property

The Contract Rating name, logo, and site design are the property of the Site operator. Contractor names, business information, and reviews are the property of their respective owners and are displayed under fair use for informational purposes.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Site's content without written permission.

6. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site contains links to contractor websites and uses third-party services including Google Places API and Google AdSense. These are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Contract Rating is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party website or service.

7. Advertising

The Site displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Advertisements are clearly labelled as "Sponsored." Contract Rating does not endorse any advertised products or services. Advertisers do not influence contractor listings, ratings, or review content.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY ONTARIO AND CANADIAN LAW, CONTRACT RATING DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONTRACT RATING SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR RELIANCE ON ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED HEREIN, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES ARISING FROM HIRING A CONTRACTOR LISTED ON THE SITE.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Site shall not exceed $100 CAD.

10. Changes to the Site and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes take effect when posted to this page. Your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
