Search Queries: Search terms you enter (service type and location) may be logged temporarily for debugging purposes but are not linked to any personal identifier.

Contractor Data: Business information displayed on the Site is sourced from the Google Places API and is publicly available information about businesses. We do not collect personal information about individual users from this source.

3. Cookies and Tracking

Supabase: Used as our database provider to store contractor information. Supabase is hosted infrastructure — no personal user data is stored in our database.

ipapi.co and ip-api.com: Used for IP-based location detection to pre-fill your search location. Your IP is sent to these services momentarily and is not stored by us.

5. How We Use Information

We use the limited information we collect solely to:

— Provide location-aware search results — Display relevant contractor listings — Serve advertisements through Google AdSense — Debug and improve site performance

We do not sell, rent, or share any personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

We do not store IP addresses or personally identifiable information. Contractor business data sourced from Google Places API is stored in our database and may be refreshed periodically. Search queries used for debugging are not retained beyond 30 days.

7. Your Rights (Ontario, Canada)

As a resident of Ontario or Canada, you may have rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Ontario's Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA), including the right to access information we hold about you and the right to request correction of inaccurate information.
