We could not be happier with the work Joe's Carpentry completed on our basement renovation. From the outset, the team was professional, organized, and genuinely attentive to what we were trying to achieve. Communication was clear and consistent, timelines were respected, and the overall project management was excellent. The quality of workmanship stands out. Every detail was handled with care, and the finished space looks and feels exactly as we had hoped. Friends who have seen the renovation have been uniformly impressed, which speaks volumes about the standard of work. We also appreciated how approachable and responsive everyone was throughout the process. Renovations can be stressful, but Joe's Carpentry made the experience straightforward and well managed. We would not hesitate to recommend Joe's Carpentry to anyone considering a renovation. They delivered exactly what was promised, and we are extremely pleased with the result.

My home burned and Joe's Carpentry was given the contract to rebuilt. From the first day to the present time, everyone was skilled, efficient and very professional. I established an excellent working rapport with Neil and Michelle. They kept things on track and so my house was built in record time. They were there to answer all my questions and were invaluable in helping me navigate the challenges of rebuilding my home every step of the way. I could not have asked for a better team.

Over the course of two summers, Joe’s Carpentry renovated my home to its current beautiful state, inside and out. First year, it was the kitchen and laundry. Next came the bathroom, linen closet, external front doors, walkways and back deck. They took my thoughts and ideas and led me through a smooth and exciting design and execution process. Successfully aging in place was a major goal and they applied this principle throughout. I always felt like a partner in the process. Of course, there was stress involved but it was always mitigated. They solved every glitch quickly and with finesse. Every staff member I encountered was knowledgeable and pleasant. I met many subcontractors who enjoyed their working relationships with Joe’s. Scheduling them seemed seamless and was never a headache for me. Now, I am happy and safe in my lovely home. If I find something else to renovate, I’ll be calling. Thank you, Joe’s.

The team at Joe's Carpentry transformed our tired old kitchen into a beautiful space we love spending time in now! From the initial stage of the project to the finish Joe's was such a pleasure to work with. They always took the time to answer all our questions, guide us on product selection and set a schedule that was very manageable. All the staff and subtrades involved were very professional, extremely courteous and respectful of our home. We would definitely recommend the team at Joe's Carpentry and Carver Cabinetry for your renovation needs. You won't be disappointed!!

Started the job in early February and finished in mid April with a new kitchen, 2 new bathrooms and new flooring throughout the entire home. The support we received was incredible from the moment they began demolition until the final inspection. The majority of the work was completed and managed onsite by Jeff and an incredible group of contractors. While on holidays we received pictures on a daily basis to watch the progress. The quality of work was second to none, the fixtures and materials were all top quality and the timeline was met in every area. Whenever we encountered an issue it was handled quickly and efficiently. Would recommend highly.

Questions worth asking
- Do you mainly do rough or finish carpentry? Can I see photos of work like mine?
- Is this quoted hourly or as a fixed price, and what is the estimate if hourly?
- Does this job need a permit, and are you pulling it?
- Who supplies materials, and is there a markup on them?
- For a deck: what footing depth, and how is it attached to the house?
