This company was introduced to me from someone who identified that I had a few shingles missing on my roof that needed immediate repair so I quickly googled their name to find many excellent reviews. From the first call with Vanessa to Stan and his team coming and did above and beyond repair (for the same price quoted!), this is truly an honest and reliable company. I will definitely recommend them to close family and friends.

The turbine on my roof got damaged and needed to be replaced. I called and texted with Vanessa about the repair and even managed to get the turbine replaced with the solar vent just a couple of hours after my last communication. Marcelo took pictures during the repair and explained all he had done. Based on the pictures, I believe the quality of craftmanship was there: even though this work was only on the roof, thus not visible other then by the drone, the pics were showing a job neatly done: see here Old turbine vs the New solar vent). The pricing was fair. Based on this experience I would highly recommend this company.

Excellent work. Contractor arrived on site at agreed time, fixed the roof very quickly. Great job Leon. Definitely will call him again if necessary

I had a couple of missing shingles after a particularly windy day. I was walking my dog when I randomly came across Leon fixing another roof in the neighbourhood. I asked him if he was able to help me fix mine since we were supposed to get a freak winter storm. He managed to not only squeeze me in the same day, but was very professional and did a great job. I got before and after pictures to show what was fixed. Can't recommend them enough

Very professional and very high quality work. We hired Toronto Roof Repairs to reshingle our roof on Nov 6 . Stan and his team were on time , very thorough removal of old shingles then install new synthetic roof underlayment , followed by very efficient installation new shinlges. They took away all waste material and made sure to clean up every piece of old shingles and picked up every nail of our lawn! I highly recommend Toronto Roof Repairs . Jan and Michael

Before you hire a roofer in Ontario

No. Roofing is not a compulsory trade in Ontario, so there is no licence to verify - which makes insurance and WSIB coverage the checks that matter.

WSIB clearance certificate

The most important document in this trade. Ask for a current certificate and confirm it names the company doing your work, not a subcontractor you have never met. It should be dated within the last 90 days.

General liability insurance

Two million dollars minimum for residential roofing. Request the certificate of insurance directly from the broker rather than a photocopy, and confirm the policy is current.

Manufacturer shingle certification

Optional but meaningful. Manufacturers certify installers, and certification is what unlocks the extended system warranty. Without it you have a material warranty only, which covers far less than most homeowners assume.

Municipal business licence

Some Ontario municipalities require one. Not universal, but easy to ask about.

Questions worth asking

Can I see a current WSIB clearance certificate and your liability certificate of insurance?
Is this a full tear-off, or shingling over the existing layer? (Overlays are cheaper and shorten roof life.)
How much ice and water shield is included, and how far up from the eave?
Are you certified by the shingle manufacturer, and does this quote include the system warranty or only the material warranty?
What happens if you find rotten decking? What is the per-sheet price, and will you show me before replacing it?
