Today the Lawn Guys installed the Celebright lights on my house and I have to say how impressed I am with not only the lights but most impressed with the exceptional customer service. From my first email with Troy to the installation by Steve. Troy was quick to reply to my email and great to answer all my follow up questions. Steve showed up today to do the install. He took the time to explain the process, what he would need access to, and did a full walk through of the app explaining everything. Troy stopped by during the install and took the time to introduce himself. They do wonderful work, they are friendly, courteous and great to deal with. I would highly recommend this company. Thank you so much Troy and Steve. You made my holiday season that much better. 😊

Amazing company Had an issue with our Celebright permanent lights, and Lawn Guys were there to address the issue quickly. Troy and his team are fast and responsive while providing service from a company that stands behind not only their work but the products they install. The installers go above and beyond. They are friendly, polite and hardworking despite the cold and inclement weather. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend!

The service from the Lawn Guys installers is wonderful. The installation is quick. The lights are vibrant, you can adjust to your own brightness. There are preset colour patterns and light actions for you but what makes even more fun and exciting is you can create so many of your own. Good for all seasons. Thank you Lawn Guys! I love these lights.

Phenomenal experience. The quote process was easy and clearly laid out and the install team were professional and took extra time to make sure the install was absolutely seamless. Great communication leading up to and during the install and the finished product looks amazing!! 10/10 would recommend the LawnGuys to anyone looking for permanent holiday lights or seasonal yard care!

After speaking with neighbors and reading reviews of the installed products, Celebright, we contacted Lawn Guys Co. Everything was easy about this. Scheduling, installation, payment, communication. The light strips match our house colors to honestly be almost invisible during the day. The lights are bright and have a huge amount of options and customizations. Highly recommend. Steve and Jake worked into the dark to race bad weather the next day. Steve gave excellent instruction and demonstrated the app. Thank you and well done!

Before you hire a landscaper in Ontario

No general licence, but specific activities are regulated: tree work near hydro lines, pesticide application, and retaining walls above a certain height.

General liability insurance and WSIB clearance

Particularly important for tree work and any job using excavators or skid steers near a structure.

ISA Certified Arborist, for tree work

A recognised certification indicating training in tree health and safe removal. Worth insisting on for any mature tree near a building.

Verify with: The International Society of Arboriculture maintains a public certification directory.

Ontario pesticide applicator licence

Required for anyone applying pesticides commercially. Ontario also restricts cosmetic pesticide use, so be sceptical of anyone offering broad chemical lawn treatment.

Permit and engineering for retaining walls

Most Ontario municipalities require a permit for retaining walls above roughly one metre, and engineered drawings above that. A failed retaining wall is expensive and can involve your neighbour.
