Multi Power Electric is good to deal with. Real good experience. Majid and his team are responsive, courteous, showed up on time and did a great job replacing our old electrical panel at a fair price.

We had a great experience working with Majid and his team. They provided fast, professional service and demonstrated a high level of experience throughout the project. The electrical panel replacement was completed on schedule, and the entire process was smooth and efficient. We are very happy with the results and would highly recommend Majid and his team to anyone looking for reliable, quality electrical work. - Iwan

How is this business 5 star? This person Mahjid I believe he is the owner. He is extremely unprofessional and he hung up on me when I try to reschedule when he’s 1 hour 10 minutes late when I told him I had to leave a specific time. If you don’t know how to honour a client’s appointment in a professional manner, please do not schedule with someone because he RS twice with me within 12 hours. When I called him to tell him we won’t have enough time for the installation of a chandelier, he said, “ I’ll come up and we will talk about it. “ mind you, this is a complete stranger whom I have given my address to and I do not feel comfortable to have him just come up and “ talk about it “ when the job is to install lighting. And when I said, sorry? He then chose to hang up on me and texted me to go find someone else. This is extremely concerning and I will notify my concierge security of my building and if I ever receive any text from this person I will contact the police.

I recently hired Majid and his team and had an outstanding experience from start to finish. They were consistently punctual, arriving exactly when scheduled, and extremely reliable throughout the entire project (I live in a condo). Their knowledge, skill, and expertise were evident in every part of the work. Majid and his team truly went the extra mile to ensure everything was completed to a high standard. They took the time to explain each step clearly, which made the entire process easy to understand. Their transparency with the quote and clear communication helped manage expectations effectively, leaving no room for confusion or surprises. Overall, the service was exceptional, and I highly recommend Majid and his team to anyone looking for a trustworthy, skilled, and professional electrician.

Outstanding quality of work and communications. We called Majid at Multi Power Electric. We needed a 40 amp breaker installed and the power line to our new electric stove connected. Majid was able to come to our home when promised. He responded quickly to my email questions. He brought all the supplies he needed to complete the work. The quality of the electrical work is top notch. I would hire Majid again and recommend him to my friends.
Before you hire an electrician in Ontario
Yes, twice over. The person needs a 309A Certificate of Qualification; the business needs an ECRA/ESA Electrical Contractor Licence.
ECRA/ESA Electrical Contractor Licence
A seven-digit number that must appear on advertising, vehicles, quotes and invoices. If you cannot find it on the quote, ask - a licensed contractor is required to provide it.
Verify with: The Electrical Safety Authority publishes a contractor lookup at esasafe.com.
Check Multi Power Electric on the official registerCertificate of Qualification, 309A Electrician
Held by the individual. A licensed contractor employs certified electricians and apprentices; the apprentices work under supervision.
Verify with: Skilled Trades Ontario maintains the public register.
Check Multi Power Electric on the official registerESA notification (the permit) for the specific job
Most work beyond replacing a light fixture requires the contractor to file a notification with ESA and have the work inspected. You should receive a Certificate of Acceptance when it passes. Keep it. You will want it when you sell.
Verify with: ESA confirms whether a notification was filed for your address.
Check Multi Power Electric on the official registerGeneral liability insurance and WSIB clearance
Two million in liability is standard. Electrical fires are the reason this is not a box-ticking exercise.
Questions worth asking
- What is your ECRA/ESA licence number? (Then look it up before you sign anything.)
- Will you file the ESA notification, and is the fee included in this price?
- Will I receive the Certificate of Acceptance when the work passes inspection?
- Is my panel at capacity? If this job needs a service upgrade, I want to know now rather than halfway through.
- Who is physically doing the work - a certified electrician or an apprentice under supervision?
