My patio door had come off its track and was a struggle to open every single day. AllFix London Windows & Doors came out to my London Ontario home, reset the door, replaced the rollers, and now it slides open effortlessly.

Helen Orr

My front door frame had shifted over the winter and the door was nearly impossible to close. Called AllFix London Windows & Doors for door repair in London Ontario and they realigned the frame, replaced the weatherstripping, and now it seals perfectly.

Leslie Allen

My bedroom window had completely lost its seal and was letting in cold air all winter. Called AllFix London Windows & Doors and they came out quickly, replaced the glass unit, and sealed everything properly. Best window repair service in London Ontario I have found.

Cristina Silvestri

I'm not sure how to attach my pictures, but looking at my before and after the work this guys did was like magic. They were professional through and through with reasonable prices that I wondered will this work out well. And then it did. I love how skillful and communicative they were and my questions never went unanswered.

Amdouni Dane

The technicians replaced several windows in my living room. They worked late into the afternoon to finish the project, ensuring each pane was level and the locks operated smoothly. Their attention to detail and care with my home made the experience very positive.

Before you hire a window and door installer in Ontario

No provincial licence is required. Installation quality is governed by manufacturer specification and the Ontario Building Code rather than by a trade certificate.

General liability insurance and WSIB clearance

Standard checks. Window installation involves ladder work and heavy glass.

Manufacturer-trained installer status

Matters more than usual here, because most window warranties are voided by installation that departs from the manufacturer specification.

Building permit for new or enlarged openings

Replacing a window in an existing opening generally does not need one. Cutting a new opening, or enlarging one for a basement egress window, generally does.

Verify with: Your municipal building department confirms what your specific job requires.

ENERGY STAR certification for the product

Relevant if you intend to claim any efficiency rebate, which typically requires certified products and documentation.

Questions worth asking

  • Is this a retrofit or a full-frame installation? What would the other one cost?
  • How is the gap between the window and the rough opening insulated and air-sealed?
  • Is exterior capping included, and in what colour and material?
  • Is the warranty on the glass seal, the frame, and the labour - and are they different lengths?
  • Is the warranty transferable if I sell the house?
