Beverley Hills Windows and Doors

Salesperson Michelle was very helpful. She was on time and did not pressure us in any way. The price was fair and the process was patiently and clearly explained. I would highly recommend this company if you are looking to replace your windows.

My Nordik experience was a success. The sales asset was personable and thorough in his pitch. The installers were very efficient and neat. The end result is beautiful clean new windows inside and out. As long as they keep the weather out, it's been a good experience. I also noticed a improvement in the soundproofing.

The service provided by Michelle who met with us to look at new windows was excellent. There was no pressure to buy, she just listened to our needs and provided a service. The office staff was also very professional and attentive to details. Jonathan came by today to measure the windows- only positive to say about each staff we encountered.

On going warranty issue with the new owner of BHHI, Nordik Windows and Doors. Has now dragged on for over 2 years. Initially had 10 windows replaced by BHHI in our home in 2013. All good for a few years. 3 windows developed spots, called for warranty in spring of 2020, BHHI now owned by Nordik. A tech came out and confirmed bad seal, windows had lost gas. Told would be replaced through existing warranty. Waited several weeks for new units, then got call to schedule installation. That's when things went south. Tech got 1 window installed but scratched it. He cracked a second window during the installation and then gave up, didn't even try on the 3rd as he said it was the wrong size. Had to call company to follow up and see what was going on. They said they would order more units and call us when they came in. Months go by and every time I call to get an update I get the same answer, they are on order, waiting for the manufacturer. Went through a cold winter with 1 cracked window and 1 with no gas. Continue to call through 2021, same story.. waiting for them to arrive, apparently blaming the original manufacturer of the windows who is mad at Nordik as they no longer use them as the supplier... but my warranty has to go through the original place, they will not give me new windows from the new supplier. Nordik suggests that I call the original supplier, so I do and they tell me the windows were made and picked up. I tell Nordik this and they say they will try to find them. Go through a 2nd cold winter with 2 windows with no gas. Finally, spring of 2022 we get a call to schedule replacement of only the 2 windows. Guess I live with the scratched one. Installer arrives and cracks both units during installation, says they are too thick. Tells us we will get them replaced... start loop again... no word from Nordik other than random auto emails saying still waiting. Every time I call, same answer, waiting for them to come in. Was given a date of Oct. 20, 2022... called a week later, nope still not in. Looks like we will be going through a 3rd winter with cracked windows. Called the original supplier again who said 1 unit has been ordered but another is on hold as they have not received a purchase order to pay for that unit. Probably why the windows have not arrived yet. Just incompetence all around it seems. Have asked for a call back from anyone at Nordik, multiple times to let us know what is going on... zero call backs from anyone. Have also filed complaints with the BBB hoping to get some action. Avoid this company now as the new owners don't seem to care.

If I could give Beverley Hills a zero star I would. It took 2 years to properly instal our front door. Four years ago Chuck (one of their sales folks) came to give us a quote on windows and a front door. His tactics were high pressure but in the end we got an OK price for a door that looked good and we thought would be a good buy. Within less than a year after installation the door shifted, the threshold moved and the caulking had holes. Back came the same crew that did the initial install and as it turns out they had not fastened the stone below the threshold which had come loose when they removed the old door. The had to disassemble and reassemble the whole job and had to redo the trim and caulking. The caulking again started to tear and leak and this time the door sagged. Out came another gentleman that redid the caulking and made some adjustments but said he would get the manufacturer out to take a look at the door. Well that did not happen before the door sagged again and a fourth repair again re-caulked the frame and adjusted the door. This guy knew what he was doing and finally the door was OK at least for now. This year we are replacing our windows and thought we would give Beverley Hills a chance to quote because they are a local business. The Beverley Hills office had called us a few weeks before to see if were interested in windows. Not sure why they called but maybe just phone canvassing. We called them after the Toronto Home Show as we were getting quotes from other contractors. We made the appointment and a week later the woman from Beverley Hills called to check if we were still good with the date March 28, 2019 and time, 6 pm which my wife confirmed. Chuck was going to be the sales guy again. Six pm came and went, then seven pm. No Chuck, no call, nothing. Next day no follow up from their office. I am sure Beverley Hills will make some lame excuse but I am not interested. I will never use them again and neither should you. Interestingly, we received 2 follow up calls after this post. The woman doing scheduling called on Saturday to reschedule because we were "not home at 5 pm on March 28, 2019" and then today Gus called to tell me about the mix up and that Chuck had been to our door and our dog barked and no one answered. This is just comical, we have no dog and we were home at 5:00 pm. The sales rep insists he was at our door. If that was the case and no one answered the door why did he not call or had the office call? They have my phone number and had no trouble calling me days later. All of this just underscores my initial concerns. If you want a better result look around try Windowland, Olympia, Award, Euroseal and I am sure there are others. We had these companies quote our new window job and had a professional response.
