I called them for a furnace issue (non-urgent) and within 1 hour a technician was in my house and had completed the job. I called the number on the website, was booked in for a window from 2pm to 6pm same day. When I got off the phone, I had a text message with a link to the whereabouts and ETA of the driver. A few minutes later I got a text with the photo of the technician and notice that he was a few minutes away. I was really impressed with the speed and quality of customer service. This was my first time using Laird & Son, I found them to be reasonably priced and was blown away how fast I had a technician in my house. Bryan did a great job and was very friendly and clearly very competent. He explained the issue clearly and gave us a few tips to help prevent the issue from happening again. Highly recommend.

Great customer service from start to finish. Someone actually answers the phone and books your appointment, and the communication is solid throughout. I especially appreciated the SMS when the technician was on the way — it even included a photo, so you know exactly who’s showing up at your door. This was the second time we’ve used Laird & Son, and once again they delivered. Alex was excellent — he quickly diagnosed the issue with our furnace, explained what was going on in clear, plain language for both my wife and me, fixed the problem, and offered helpful advice on the best setup going forward. All of this was done professionally and with a genuinely courteous attitude.

Laird and Sons is an amazing, family-owned business, and as someone from a small town, that means a lot to me. They genuinely care about their customers. Their customer service is prompt, warm, and timely—they arrive within their scheduled window and even text a heads-up before coming, which I really appreciate. They take great care to keep your home clean and protected, including wearing boot covers and taking extra steps to avoid any damage. When our furnace broke down and needed to be replaced, I was extremely worried because of our newly renovated basement. Laird and Sons completely put my mind at ease. They put down protective mats from the front door to the basement furnace and replaced the unit without a single mark on anything, not even the walls. Also, they were able to do the job the very next day—no long wait at all. I couldn’t be happier with their service and would highly recommend them to anyone.

I have been a long-time customer of Laird & Son. This week my high efficiency combo boiler had to be replaced on an emergency basis. I was extremely pleased with how everything was handled on such a timely basis including Anthony (who diagnosed problem and explained my options), and Dan and Luke who worked diligently, efficiently and carefully to complete the installation over two days. All employees were professional, courteous and kept me 'in-the-loop' at all times; and they left the area as clean as before they started. The office and billing department was very helpful as well.I highly recommend Laird & Son Ltd.

Have been a longtime customer of Laird & Son and have always found their service and customer support first rate. We had Laird & Son replace our home's furnace system and air conditioner unit back in 2013 and have annually relied on their team for service and regular maintenance checks. They have always been very courteous to deal with and quick to respond. Most recently, when we had an issue with our furnace, the front office support team and in particular technicians Alex and Bryan were thorough in diagnosing the problem and getting us back up and running quickly, which we greatly appreciated! Highly recommend!!
