By far the best vinyl window you can buy for quality and value. Additionally, they are a Canadian company, made right here in Ontario. Andy who works in the service department is a total gentleman and represents the company well. I bought windows in 2006 and accidentally broke two moulding on two separate windows when installing them, mouldings that were removed to conceal the screws. Last week I called the company to finally address this blunder and was transfered to Andy so I left a voicemail. Within 2 days he called me back and asked for particulars. I emailed the lengths and pictures of the profiles and within 2 business days the parts were at my doorstep, no questions asked and free of charge. That's standing behind your customers and product. This is unheard of today, where every company, even the large corporations try to pickpocket every chance they get. This company offers the best vinyl windows you can buy, they have the best customer service, while holding some old fashioned values. I highly recommend these windows to all my family and friends, and have never had an issue with any of their products. Word of advice, windows are easy to install, but knowledge of construction and materials is key to installing windows properly. First of all, they must be measured correctly and must be at least 1/2" smaller than the rough opening on each dimension to allow for shimming and foam insulation. The wall framing size must be known in order to know the jamb size so the window fits flush on the inside and outside of the wall. Second of all, the window must be properly flashed and level when installing, screws need to be long enough to penetrate the framing and can't be overtightened or the window frame warps and it will be difficult to open or close the window. It must then be properly insulated with the proper window foam insulation or the window will have air and water infiltrate. Differentials in temperature and pressure from the inside/outside will cause air leaks; water flows on the path of least resistance. Windows are simple enough to install, yet also easy to mess up by someone without the know-how or experience. So most comments found here regarding faulty products are an installation issue and not a manufacturer, I can assure you of that. I own a construction company and deal with architects and engineers, and have always heard praise for this company. So much so, that I own their products and have taken the time to write this review in both appreciation as well as to educated those interested in putting new windows in their home, regardless of brand! Get yourself a reputable installer and buy yourself a decent window and you'll never have issues, just enjoyment for as long as you live in your home.

We had Strassburger windows and doors put into our new build home 25 years ago. Just recently we had a window replacement and some adjustments done to a few of our crankout windows, as well as new door weather stripping. We were absolutely delighted at the work Josh did for us. He was here a couple of times and each time he was so professional, friendly and willing to answer our questions. Thank you Josh. It was a pleasure having you do work for us.

After lots of research for our passive built home in northern Ontario, We got many recommendations for Strassburger Windows. The 4000 series casement windows was a perfect match to our exterior insulation, With wider window frames setting the glass further back in the building envelope. Triple pane glass, with triple seal. We had to bring these ourselves over 700kms north, And it was well worth the effort. As -40 is a common winter temperature, no leaks, no frosting. Just high efficiency performance. And our heating bills are peanuts compared to others around us. Made in Canada 🇨🇦 for Canadian winters

While I have 30 of your windows installed my house, overall I am happy with them. EXCEPT for the screens. They are designed for looks only and are as hard as hell to remove for cleaning. Wish you had a different design that would permit easier removal. 4 of my screen frames are damaged beyond repair.

I had a terrific experience yesterday. I needed a part to repair a 20+ year old Strassburger window. I was able to show the young lady who helped me a picture. She identified the part and said she would be just a few minutes as she had to go to the back of the warehouse. She returned with the part and at no charge. I just completed the repair(5 minutes) and it should be another 20+ years of solid performance. There was nothing flashy about this but it was just great customer care👍
