Had Norm and another gentleman out to install a ceiling fan that had some weird wiring. They were patient, answered all my questions and made sure I was kept in the loop of the work they were doing. They were extremely polite, professional, and the invoice was very reasonable.

When our business had a fire next door Dave and his team stepped in and allowed us to get back up and running. He is professional, kind, courteous and doesn’t speak electrician to you. He will answer any questions you may have and is happy to help in any way possible! He pulled all permits from ESA, ensured everything was safe and came up with a gameplan to solve problems that no one thought was possible; all on Christmas Eve to boot. 100% recommend this Kingston owned and operated business.

I had Wieser Electric install a Tesla charger in our new house and a plug for an electric stove (because the house came with a gas stove). Despite the challenging layout in the house the guys for both installs were fantastic. Also I LOVED that David showed up in a Rivian! An electrician should definitely be driving an EV! Especially one that specializes In the installation of charging stations!! First and only time I’ve had an R1S in my driveway! I think I was most excited by the Rivian and not the new Tesla charger or stove I was getting! Thanks so much for the fast work with the charger and stove plug!

Despite my own scheduling delays causing a near year-long hold-up, Wieser Electric impressed me by arriving on the agreed dates and completing the work within the original budget. Yes, twice over. The person needs a 309A Certificate of Qualification; the business needs an ECRA/ESA Electrical Contractor Licence.
ECRA/ESA Electrical Contractor Licence
A seven-digit number that must appear on advertising, vehicles, quotes and invoices. If you cannot find it on the quote, ask - a licensed contractor is required to provide it.

Most work beyond replacing a light fixture requires the contractor to file a notification with ESA and have the work inspected. You should receive a Certificate of Acceptance when it passes. Keep it. You will want it when you sell.

- Is my panel at capacity? If this job needs a service upgrade, I want to know now rather than halfway through.
- Who is physically doing the work - a certified electrician or an apprentice under supervision?
