Went to St Thomas to watch a junior hockey game. The facility was average. The concession stand was not in an idea location to have people line up at. Inside the arena the WIFI was non existing - hope they add a wifi hotspot going forward. Nice to see Joe Thornton’s jerseys!

Good place, not as cold as I thought it would be, food was good and prices weren't bad. 50 bucks for 2 chicken strips combos an order of fries and 3 drinks, thought that was pretty good.

I was impressed by the cleanliness of the facility. The front entrance, the snack bar, the changing rooms were all spotless. The ice rink had fresh ice and well maintained. There is a walking/running track above the bleachers/sitting area which was well utilized as well. A very pleasant experience.

Clean arena staff are very personalable easy to find and helpful. Big area free walking track and doors are open for everyone especially when needed for those in cold nights. Also best fries

Horrible experience at hockey game. We were gifted tickets to come on Friday “oct 1st” for a game on Oktoberfest fest . When we were at the window to get into the game we realized the tickets were printed WRONG it said Friday October first but actually Friday was the third. They printed the wrong day . THEIR MISTAKE THEIR FAULT. The attitude of the woman was horrible . She had cero empathy that we were with our kids (8-4) she just looked at us and said this is the wrong day . Not even apologized for their own mistake and didn’t even offer a discount for us to go in. Zero customer service . Horrible women . NEVER BE THERE AGAIN.

Before you hire a pool builder in Ontario

Pool building itself is not a licensed trade, but the electrical work is, and the enclosure permit is mandatory.

Municipal pool enclosure permit

Required in essentially every Ontario municipality, usually before excavation begins. Bylaws specify fence height, gate self-closing and self-latching hardware, and how soon the enclosure must be in place. Enforcement is real and the liability if a child accesses an unfenced pool is severe.

ESA notification for pool electrical and bonding

Pool electrical must be installed by a licensed electrical contractor, and the metal structure must be bonded. This requires an ESA notification and inspection.

How is my deposit protected, and what is refundable if you cannot start?
