Was here early for some cover band show. Contemplating whether I should wait til I get home for food or try out their menu. I was very impressed with their pulled pork on a bun. The xlcoleslaw on top of pulled pork made all the difference. Their fries was very good too, certainly not from the McCain bags from No Frills.

Got 1 piece fish n chips today. Chips were Luke warm and chewy and DRY. The fish was WAY SMALLER than it should be. THE COST TO ME HAS GONE UP , for sure eh😳 Shrinkflation has come to BACK ALLY USED to be good spot

My mom raved about the fish and chips here. It was great! I had the wings and they were overcooked and Parmesan was grated on top and fell right off. Obviously not hot enough to melt the cheese. The wings were also bland. I've never added salt to wings ever, but I did there. The waitress left the room and didn't come back for over 10 mins. We had our dishes piled at the end of our table. We were looking for the bill but didn't see her. Other than that the waitress was attentive and brought condiments early. Might need an update in decor. The seats at the booth leaned toward the middle with two of us there. The seats were too far from the table. We had to sit on the edge of the seat to eat our food. The fish was great!!

The Back Alley Bar & Grill has it all! Attend the Grill for great food at a great price. Live Music in the Venue! 🎶 There's not a bad seat in the house when experiencing live music with pro sound system. Can't recommend it enough. See top local, provincial and national bands in this incredible room. Practice your swing on the top floor, with their top golf simulator ⛳

Before you hire a pool builder in Ontario

Pool building itself is not a licensed trade, but the electrical work is, and the enclosure permit is mandatory.

Municipal pool enclosure permit

Required in essentially every Ontario municipality, usually before excavation begins. Bylaws specify fence height, gate self-closing and self-latching hardware, and how soon the enclosure must be in place. Enforcement is real and the liability if a child accesses an unfenced pool is severe.

ESA notification for pool electrical and bonding

Pool electrical must be installed by a licensed electrical contractor, and the metal structure must be bonded. This requires an ESA notification and inspection.

What is the total installed cost including electrical, gas, decking, fencing and landscape restoration?
Who pulls the enclosure permit, and when must the fence be up relative to excavation?
Which licensed electrical contractor are you using, and will I receive the ESA Certificate of Acceptance?
What is the realistic installation window, and what happens if it slips past the season?
How is my deposit protected, and what is refundable if you cannot start?
