YWCA of St. Thomas-Elgin

I have the privilege of being able to support this amazing organization that does SO much for our community. I am a sponsor and cheerleader for all things they do! My biggest involvement has been with Project Tiny Hope through running fundraisers, helping volunteer with furniture building and providing donations. I have also been lucky enough to be a sponsor for some of their other events and an attendee to an always awesome event. Thank you all for all you do to support our community!

Before school program was terribly run, no consequences children allowed to have cell phones terrible communication with supervisors overall bad experience had to remove my child due to poor mental health stemming from this program

Greg Provided me a place to stay so I can experience life on my own before college, Allowed me the opportunity to learn a few things from a program they host, allowed me to get cpr training, and allowed me to have a fun time with the events they occasionally host and the workers are amazing, Especially Beth and Shannon

I had the privilege of signing up with the YWCA Skills training and upgrading program at their Aylmer Community Services location. From start to finish this has been a wonderful experience, and I couldn’t recommend it enough. My instructor was knowledgable, professional, and respectful in every aspect. She is committed to the success of her students and creates a positive learning environment for everyone regardless of their academic levels. She understood my time constraints as an adult learner, and helped me set up a learning schedule that allowed me to optimize my time and achieve my goals. If you are thinking about going back to school, have questions about academic or skills upgrading, this program is a great place to begin.

my experience at the ywca was horrible. First I was warned by Jeanette that there might be people there who had at one time worshipped the devil. Then the whole time I was there I was harrassed continuasly by almost everyone there. Every single time I would go into the kitchen, I would be followed by a whole horde of people.I contacted Jeanette about that , but guess what? She and Michelle kicked me out instead . So God Bless you everyone at the Ywca in St. Thomas.
