My recent service call for the replacement of parts was addressed and coordinated by staff in a timely manner. I appreciated the follow up to ensure the service call was on schedule. THANK you very much for the customer service regarding this item.

Kaitlynne , Nicole and Khalif were all heros in saving my tub from a winter leak. They were quick, courteous and helped book a service for me in a rush. Khalif was sent over to do the repair and I couldn't be happier with the service. He was friendly and even when it seemed like the tub may need to be removed to fix the issue, he kept looking for alternatives and was able to fix the leak without the need for a costly removal for access. I hope all these employees are treated like gold because they solved an extremely stressful situation for us with care.

Our two month old hot tub started to leak at the wet end. It looks like a seal failure between the pump in the impeller housing. Service was prompt. The technician Derek was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable. Had the parts for replacement with him and completed the repair within half an hour. Derek was pleasant and respectful, cleaned up after himself. I would not hesitate to request him for service again.

Excellent experience. From the communication at the start regarding my swim spa that I inherited with a new home purchase to the follow-up along the way. The tech that came to site was thorough and patient, not only explaining everything as he went but also doing a tremendous job cleaning my spa to like new condition. Will definitely use them again. Shortly after the initial visit I had to reach back out due to issues with the hot tub. Kaitlynne was quick to line up a tech and Owen was excellent in sorting out my issues and fixing my hot tub before cold weather hit.

Derek and the office staff were fantastic to deal with when we had a pump problem with our 3 year old tub. They booked us in quickly and had the pump switched out 20 minutes after arriving. Highly recommended, we will use them again if/when hot tub problems arise.

Before you hire a hot tub installer in Ontario

Hot tub sales and placement are unregulated, but the electrical connection is not. It requires a licensed electrical contractor and an ESA inspection.

Licensed electrical contractor with an ECRA/ESA number

A hot tub needs a dedicated GFCI-protected 240V circuit and, in most cases, a disconnect within sight of the tub. This is not work for a handyman.

Verify with: The Electrical Safety Authority, esasafe.com.

ESA notification and Certificate of Acceptance

Filed by the electrical contractor and inspected. Keep the certificate - insurers and buyers ask for it.

Adequate base or engineered deck support

A filled hot tub with occupants is a serious point load. Placing one on an ordinary residential deck without verifying capacity is a real structural risk, and decks have failed under them.

General liability insurance for delivery and placement

Crane placement over a house is a moment where insurance stops being theoretical.

Questions worth asking

  • What is the filled weight, and is my intended base or deck rated for it?
  • Which licensed electrical contractor will do the connection, and is the ESA notification included?
  • Will I get the Certificate of Acceptance when it passes inspection?
  • Can the tub physically reach the location, or is a crane required - and is that in the price?
  • What is the insulation construction, and what is the realistic monthly running cost in winter?
